OUR MISSION

To provide an office based, design and purpose driven, retail shop in downtown Mill Valley. A unique and beautiful creation inspired by the notion that people should have a workspace that exists to invite them in, make them comfortable, and in so doing increase their creativity, productivity, and overall work experience. As long time residents of this quaint city, we honed in on what our town had in the past that no longer exists, as well as what was missing, relevant to today’s market and needed. The concept evolved over a period of several months. The flagship “Banana Republic” was a one of a kind gem in Mill Valley thirty years ago, as was the original “Smith & Hawken”. Retail was useful back then, and offered a general Mercantile, a cool old hardware store, and a few stationers/office supply stores. We chose to focus specifically on the office because it is no longer just a place you go to to bring home a paycheck. Rather, it has become a space that almost everyone needs. From busy career women and men to stay-at-home parents active in their family affairs, there needs to be a functioning, organized, devoted space to get it done. We want to inspire people to get the paperwork off of the dining table, out of site in the bedroom, and to bring both beauty and functionality to the business workplace. Whether we help you transform the cubby under your stairs, or design a conference room that makes your clients and board of directors excited to gather there and work together, we created Office Hours to make your “office hours” more enjoyable.
